NRSP's Involvement in Large-Scale Community Development ProjectsTop

In addition to its regular programme, NRSP is engaged in a number of large-scale Projects that work to address the structural problems that contribute to widespread poverty. These Projects are essentially agreements between Provincial Governments, funding agencies and Implementing Partners. The overarching purposes of all of these Projects are: reducing poverty, improving incomes and livelihoods, restoring the viability of ecological systems, and enabling rural men and women to improve their quality of life. The specific details of the Projects vary, but they all have in common the use of social mobilisation as the foundation of sustainable development.
